The tumblers are slab-built and the others are thrown. Still with the JB3 and a mix of home-made glazes and store-bought ones, and some commercial underglaze.

Tumblers Tumbling and Other New Work
The tumblers are slab-built and the others are thrown. Still with the JB3 and a mix of home-made glazes and store-bought ones, and some commercial underglaze.
In the new year I will be assisting with the ceramic portion of a project to make a memorial garden (at a church near IAC). Details are still to be decided - but so far I know that the group would like to make ceramic plaques to commemorate people from the community who have died, which may then be embedded into a path in the garden. I've made up a couple of example plaques so that the project coordinator can get an idea of what this clay-stuff is and what could be possible. John Doe is still drying out.
